For the construction of the new CHwapi hospital in Tournai, Verhelst Machines has delivered two Geda 2500 ZZP construction hoists. This hospital project, which centralizes all activities on one site, requires efficient and safe solutions on the construction site.
The Geda 2500 ZZP lifts, with a load capacity of 2,500 kg and mounted at a height of 22 meters, ensure the smooth and safe transport of both people and materials to the different floors. This contributes to an efficient progress of the works and increases safety on the site.
A particular challenge of this project was the irregular exterior of the building. This made standard anchoring of the lifts impossible. With a customized solution and close consultation on site, the lifts could still be placed safely and stably.
